A local Landmark

The Brush Creek School, located at the corner of Brush Creek and Silverton roads, was built in 1888. When it was no longer used as a schoolhouse, it was purchased by the Brush Creek Farmer's Association. In 1978 they donated the building and its surrounding full acre of land to the Player's. The only payment required was back taxes and one dollar.
